The i3+ EVO unlike the other robot vacuums that we tested has a self emptying bin that automatically dumps debris in an external dirt compartment located on the base of its charging once it's full. This reduces hands-on maintenance and helps keep the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it still requires manually emptied after every cleaning session. The i3+ EVO's built-in dust bin holds 2.4L of debris and is more than enough to last four or five cleaning sessions before needing to replace it.

Similar to the i7, this model also uses the latest floor sensors to create maps and navigate neat rows. The i3+ EVO can only store one map, while the i7 is able to store multiple. The i7's map can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones however, not the i3+ EVO.

While the i3+ EVO is better at picking up surface debris than some of the other robovacs that we tested, it's not the best robot vacuum for the money in terms of cleaning corners and edges. It's also not as gentle on furniture, despite being fairly quiet. It pushed chairs away from walls, and made some collisions with the sides of our test bed, and it became stuck on cords and toys during testing.

If you're looking to expand your robot vacuum collection or are just starting out, the Q5 Pro is a great choice. The only drawback is that it's more noisy than other models and doesn't perform better in our user-satisfaction and predicted reliability assessments.

The Q5 Pro comes with a large dust bin that is 770ml, which means that you won't need to empty it as frequently as other 2-in-1 robots. The Q5 Pro's 240-minute running time is also impressive when contrasted with other 2-in-1 robots we have tested. If the battery is depleted it goes back to its dock and recharges, before starting cleaning where it left off.
