The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I used it on its standard vac and mop settings for about 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only downside is that it's costly. The number of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. If you can afford the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the house. The base station must be cleaned, and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are bought separately are required to be replaced on a regular basis too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget I would suggest a less basic model that lets you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot mop and vacuum you could find but its price and ongoing maintenance would make it more an option than a necessity.

The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it has to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of picking up debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, expandable zone, or a routine you've created. There are a number of mopping options that include SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo was a great performer in our tests, just like the other Roborock models we've test. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is also quite effective however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this device is the absence of a mop after vacuum option, which could be an issue for those who do a lot of vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each session.
