The latest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology and future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).

It's also the only robot vacuum cleaners uk vacuum/mop to score the perfect 10/10 out of 10 in our testing. This is thanks to a combination high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, a camera and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could fill and empty its basestation autonomously. It also boasted an industry-leading suction of 12,000Pa as well as self-cleaning mop mops.

As with other iRobot models like the X40 is easy to use, offering an easy mobile app interface as well as integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit as well as Google Assistant. The well-designed iRobot app will guide you through an initial mapping run that gathers information about your floorplan as well as any "no-go" areas you mark on the map.
